Why I Hate Sony – Part 1

It’s no secret that I revel in any news of plight on behalf of the Sony family of corporations. I had a decent respect for the company at one point; they were the benchmark of consumer audio and video equipment. Slowly but surely my impression of their products and eventually their business practices dwindled to the point where not only did I no longer purchase or even value their products but I take pleasure in any news of their further downfall. It has come to my attension that I’m an opinionated bastard… actually that’s not entirely true; I’ve always known that I’m an opinionated bastard. As a moderator on Xbox-Scene I spend quite a bit of time in the forum’s trenches helping people with technical questions, politely correcting them when they’re wrong, and generally voicing my opinion on whatever topic is the flavor of the hour. And that’s in addition to my moderator duties, which really serve more as an excuse for my bad habbit more then anything else. (more…)

R* Table Tennis Review

Rockstar is probably most well known for their Grand Theft Auto series of games. A game that sells in enormous quantities with each new release and is constantly in the press over due to it’s excessive use of video game violence, sexual content, and language that would make a sailor blush. Even Rockstar’s other games are fairly “adult oriented” in terms of their content. So when the announcement dropped they would be making an exclusive Xbox 360 game it’s pretty clear what people were expecting to see. (more…)

X-Men Review

The X-men movies have been doing well in the theaters and on DVD over the past few years. With the release of the third and final film into theaters comes the first video game based around the X-men movie franchise. While the game uses characters and locations from the films, as well as video game likenesses of the real life actors, the plot line is completely different. (more…)

Tomb Raider has easily been one of the most well known franchises in video games, ever since the first Tomb Raider game was released in November of 1996. Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend marks the seventh release of the series in 10 years. (more…)
